Sunday afternoon, shots were fired in Whistler Village near the gondola. It has been reported that at least two people have died.

Menander Dhaliwal, 29, was one of two men gunned down in broad daylight in Whistler Village behind the Sundial and Pan Pacific Hotels near Skier’s Plaza on Sunday. Dhaliwal died in the incident, and the condition of the second man is unknown.
